Services for noted Tulsa architect and author John Brooks Walton will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 29, 2016, at Trinity Episcopal Church in downtown Tulsa.
Walton, 87, died Saturday, October 22.
Walton grew up in Ponca City but relocated to Tulsa after getting his architecture degree. He was married to Margaret Alice Stanley.
Best known for his architectural career, he designed houses for clients and restored historic homes. He was also a published author of titles like "One Hundred Historic Tulsa Homes" and "Tomorrow's Historic Tulsa Homes." He began painting in 2003.
