3.1 Magnitude Earthquake Recorded Near Pawnee

A 3.1 magnitude earthquake was recorded near Pawnee, Oklahoma, Friday afternoon.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, this earthquake was recorded at 1:24 p.m. Its epicenter was located eight miles north, northwest of Pawnee, and 20 miles south, southeast of Ponca City.

It was about four miles deep.

No injuries or damage were immediately reported.
