Verizon Wireless is helping victims of domestic violence.  On Monday, the company donated $10,000 to Domestic Violence Intervention Services in Tulsa.

Verizon employees pitched in to give 1,700 boxes of basic care items for the Tulsa shelter.  And Verizon invites you to help, too.

"We also have a program called the Hope Line, where you can go to any Verizon store and donate your used phones, and if they're good and they can be recycled then we hand them out to people who need a voice," said Brad Berrett with Verizon Wireless.

Those phones can be used by domestic violence victims for emergencies or in times of need.
