This is your last chance to put in your two cents on what to do with Broken Arrow High School.

The district is asking for input on solutions for its growing student body.

Broken Arrow is the largest high school in the state, but it can't stay that way forever.

More than 5,000 students flood the halls of Broken Arrow High School, and the district says its population is growing by two or three percent every single year.

So the question is - what to do about the rapidly growing, and overcrowding high school?

Broken Arrow Schools held three public forums last month where district leaders told the community about three different options.

First, the current high school could split off into satellite schools, or academies, based on different subjects - like engineering or fine arts.

Another option - create a new building just for sophomores.

Or, the district could just build one or two more high schools. That option is the most expensive, about $100 million per school.

All of this means by the time Gary Wilson's grandson gets to high school, things will look very different.

"But it doesn't surprise me. I mean, Broken Arrow's growing so fast," he said.

Teresa Stuart's son is a first-grader, and she said she's not sure which option is best.

"I don't know. I really don't. I don't know what would serve the students the best," she said.

The district wants anyone living in Broken Arrow who does have preferences to fill out an online survey.

It says 2,100 people have already responded, and the district will use that information to make its decision.

Administrators will reveal the long-term plan this spring.

If you’d like to participate, you have until midnight to fill out the survey.
