Tulsa Police are looking for the men who robbed a Chinese restaurant near 31st and Harvard at gunpoint. Police say a man was driven to the Golden Chef at 2819 South Harvard just before 6 p.m. Tuesday, November 1, 2016. He got out of a vehicle and pointed a machine gun at the cashier, according to police.
Video shows she ducked behind a counter, and the robber stole the cash register, setting down his gun to do so. Police say he had to come back to the restaurant to retrieve his gun, which they described as a black submachine gun.
Then, he jumped in a getaway car that headed east on 29th Street.
Officers set up a perimeter and the helicopter and K-9 units came out to search for him but had no luck. TPD says the man was wearing a hoodie and ball cap with a handkerchief over his face.
If you know where the robber is, you're asked to call police.
