Tulsa Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Family Dollar near 11th and Utica. Police were called to the store at 1919 East 11th Street around 7:45 a.m.
Officers at the scene said an employee carrying a money bag was robbed outside the store. The robber was wearing a white plastic mask and was armed with a black, semi-automatic pistol, according to police.
Police had a K-9 team searching the neighborhood around the store, but were unable to locate the robber.
No one was injured. Police said the robbery was similar to a robbery at another Family Dollar on Halloween.
