Voters Line Up Early In Tulsa, Claremore

Long lines are greeting Oklahomans who are taking advantage of early voting in Tulsa and Rogers counties.

The line at the Tulsa County Election Board, at 555 North Denver, stretched around the block as soon as the office opened Friday. The board is also offering early voting at Hardesty Regional Library, at 8316 East 93rd Street.

Early voting continues in Tulsa until 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The line at the Rogers County Election Board in Claremore wasn't quite as long. In Rogers County, early voting is open until 6 p.m. Friday and then 9 a.m to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Election officials recommend studying the ballot before you arrive at the polling place. This year's election includes seven state questions. The League of Women Voters of Oklahoma compiled arguments from both supporters and opponents of each question and you can read them here:
