The great thing about playoffs is everybody starts out 0-0.

In our Wendy's Game of the Week between Broken Arrow and Union, that's even more important.

The first meeting wasn't pretty.

"I think the guys are ready to get another shot at them," said B.A. linebacker Carder Key.

The Tigers lost to the Redskins, 42-7, in the second week of the season.

"We don't feel like the first game we played them really represents how well we can play with them,” stated Key. “But I think everybody's really chomping at the bit to go get another chance at them.”

But the Tigers say Friday night, playoff time, they're a different team.

"We were real young at the start of the year,” explained Broken Arrow quarterback Cade Yeager. “We've matured, and everybody is a whole lot more comfortable with what they're doing."

Head Coach David Alexander said there will be two things that will be key for the Tigers on Friday: winning the turnover battle and the play of his quarterback, Cade Yeager. He's a senior and the only offensive starter to play in last year's state title game.

"I love our quarterback,” said Alexander. “We're going to rely on him to calm everybody else down, get us in the right protections, get us in the right run fits, and be accurate with the football."

In case you didn’t know, Yeager's thrown 12 touchdowns to just three interceptions all year.
