Cyclocross Racing Event Rolls Into Tulsa

The second-annual Cyntergy Hurtland Cyclocross race will take place this weekend in Owen Park and the grounds of nearby Roosevelt Elementary School in Tulsa. Cyclists will be out learning the course Friday afternoon, but races begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 12, 2016

In last year's premiere event, around 300 cyclists competed in the off-road event. It's hosted by the same people behind Tulsa Tough include Race Director Malcolm McCollam.

Racers take their off-road bikes onto the cross-country course going through creeks, over obstacles and up long staircases. If you're not ready to compete, it's a fun spectator sport.

Owen Park is located at 560 North Maybelle.
