Sunny And Cool Veterans Day Across Eastern Oklahoma

It will be mostly sunny today with high clouds filtering in by the afternoon and evening.

A cool front will be moving through, shifting winds around to the north. This will be a dry frontal passage without any chance for rain or even significantly cooler air.

Today's high is expected around 68.  

High pressure will settle in tonight and with clear skies, temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 30's for Saturday morning. Patchy frost will be possible in the morning.

Saturday, high pressure will start to slide off to the east and we'll see more of an easterly wind with plenty of sunshine. Light winds, sunshine and highs in the low 60s are the recipe for a very pleasant fall day.

On Sunday, an upper level system will be sliding but since moisture at the surface will be lacking, we should only see an increase in cloud cover. Winds will pick up out of the south. Morning low of 41 then warming to 68 in the afternoon.

Another weak boundary moving through on Monday will see it remain dry. Despite a north wind in the afternoon, highs will still be close to 70.

A quiet and warm pattern kicks in gear for the middle of the week.

A quick-moving system coming through next Friday will be our next chance for showers and storms.
