Sunday in Tulsa, the organization Embrace Yourself Outreach held a rally at John Hope Franklin Reconciliation Park.

People at the rally said as of right now, America isn't a place where there's liberty and justice for all. Organizers said they hope all Americans can find a way to unite.

Protesters said they fear what a Donald Trump Presidency would mean for America. For the dozens of people here, President Elect Donald Trump, is a title some people will have to take time getting used to.

"We see how divided we are and that's what we need to fix," said Tyke McClain, organizer and member of Embrace Yourself Outreach.

It's a fix that McClain said may be hard to come by.

But she hopes this rally - complete with poets, song and speakers - somehow helps bring America together.

"What can we do to change it what can we do to feel better about  the situation instead of sitting here and being upset," McClain said.

She said this rally at John Hope Franklin park is a direct result of Trumps presidential win.

But also a result of what's come since that win.

She said the election outcome won't change but people's response to it can.

"After seeing post after post of people calling people the 'N word' and telling them to 'pick cotton' and 'you're going home,' 'you're going to be deported,' and telling them that they're better than them," McClain said.

Phyllis Rogers said since Trump's big win, she's been through every emotion.

She's at the rally hoping to connect with people who've been experiencing the same thing and get encouragement.

"I'm so scared, I'm scared," Rogers said.

She said none of the candidates were perfect, but others had a better respect for everyone's rights.

So since she can't change the election, she'll protest.

"With a republican president, a republican senate, republican house, they can do anything they want now and it scares me to death. That's not the America I'm proud of. it's about liberty and justice for all."

During his speech last week, Trump also asked the public to unite.

Some fear it may be too late.

Another group is holding a 'March for Equality" Monday night at 6 p.m. at Veterans Park.
