Three Oklahomans are finalists as voting for US Cellular's Most Valuable High School Football Coach comes to an end on Friday.

Jenks Coach Allan Trimble is in the top spot right now, with more than 25 percent of the votes.

Faron Griffin from Walters is in 6th place with 3.5 percent and Jeff Marshall from Wilburton is in 11th place with just more than two percent.

Coach Trimble got a pretty big endorsement from another native Oklahoman. Troy Aikman tweeted that he's been a fan of Coach Trimble since the Jenks program produced the Phillips Brothers. He congratulated Coach Trimble for "molding young men into winners."

Anthony Phillips played on the 1985 Oklahoma Sooners national championship team as an offensive lineman, where one of his teammates was his older brother, Jon, who played defensive tackle.
