'Bison-Themed' License Plate Halfway Towards Goal

The Nature Conservancy is halfway towards a goal of getting a new specialty license plate.

The group reports 270 of their "Pioneers of the Prairie" plates have been ordered. It takes at least 500 orders to get the state to produce them.

The tags cost $38 on top of the normal fee for Oklahoma plates.
