Rogers County deputies arrested a man Wednesday they say impersonated a Tulsa County deputy and stole a couple's appliances.

Deputies arrested Randy Shelby and booked him into jail on November 23, 2016.

They say Shelby went to a couple's home, identified himself as a Tulsa County deputy and told them he had to confiscate their washer and dryer as evidence because they'd been stolen.

The couple became suspicious and called law enforcement, who tracked down Shelby.
