TU Preps For Cincinnati Thanksgiving Week

We all know the Thanksgiving routine: Macy's Day Parade, Lions game, Cowboys game, eat and then sleep.

But for the Tulsa football team, plans are different. That’s because they have a game Friday night against Cincinnati.

Turns out, when Head Coach Philip Montgomery was growing up the Montgomery family Thanksgiving was full of football, family and fun.

"There was always some type of football game on after you eat, and really, I think it's before you ate,” said Montgomery. “Then you went and ate and then you watch the Cowboys and then you went to sleep, and then after that, it was card games and dominos."
