Broken Arrow Police say a teenager could be charged as an adult after they said he carjacked local resident late Thursday.
Officers said it happened in the 4500 block of South Gum just before 11 p.m.
They said the 17 year old showed up at the victim's home, pulled out a gun and took the victim's SUV.
Police say an officer spotted the SUV a short time later and stopped it in the 5200 block of South Elm.
They said that is when the teen got out of the car and ran off. Officers along with assistance from Tulsa Police and TPD's helicopter searched the area, finding and arresting the teen about 30 minutes later.
