Friday night, Wagoner won its third straight title with a 28-13 4A state championship victory over its familiar foe Oologah.

“Not that many teams do this,” Wagoner quarterback Malcolm Rodriguez told News On 6 reporter Tony Russell. “I just love this team.”

Head Coach Dale Condict added, "You go into rare air when you get three in a row. There's not that many teams out there that's ever accomplished that. And I tell you this, this never gets old man. It's one of the best feelings to work so hard and to accomplish the ultimate prize in high school football in Oklahoma and go into the offseason knowing that no one got us.”
