Tulsa Cab Driver Pistol-Whipped During Armed Robbery Attempt

<p>Police are looking for two juveniles and an adult, after they say the adult&nbsp;pistol-whipped and tried to rob Tulsa cab driver early Saturday.</p>

Police are looking for two juveniles and an adult, after they say the adult pistol-whipped and tried to rob Tulsa cab driver early Saturday.

Officers said the incident happened just before 2 a.m.  

Police say the cab driver picked up the three in the area of 51st and Lewis.  When the cab got to the 700 block of West 51st Street, the two juveniles jumped out and ran to some nearby apartments. 

The cab driver told police, the third man pulled out a gun and demanded money.  Police said when the driver refused, the man pistol-whipped the driver while trying to taking his wallet and money from the money meter.

He also fled into a nearby apartment complex.

Police said the driver was treated by EMSA paramedics, but not taken to the hospital.

Officers looked for the three suspects but could not find them.
