The presidential recount in Michigan begins today at noon after a federal judge granted permission to give the state more time to complete the count ahead of the December 13 deadline.
The judge issued a ruling just before midnight last night after rejecting an effort by Michigan state officials to wait two business days before starting the hand count.
Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein requested a recount after President-elect Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton by nearly 11-thousand votes in the state.
The recount in Wisconsin is already underway.
