Tulsa Zoo 'Elf On The Shelf' Shares Adventures With Animals

A lot of families have adopted an Elf on the Shelf for their children during the holiday season. The book "Elf on the Shelf," published in 2005, describes an elf "scout" who can travel back and forth to the North Pole to help Santa manage his naughty and nice lists.

The Tulsa Zoo is also getting in on the action this year. Their elf, Zofie, said Santa sent her to the Zoo because she loves animals.

Zofie is quite an active elf. She's goes all over the Zoo - posing with animals and checking the exhibits. 

She's taken time to dive with the fishes and visit the Aldabra tortoises the week before the Bedlam football game. The Zoo has shared photos of Zofie's on social media sites so you can follow along.
