A magnitude 6.8 earthquake struck off the Northern California coast early Thursday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The USGS reports that the earthquake struck at 6:50 a.m. about 110 miles west-southwest of Eureka, at a depth of 6.2 miles.
The National Tsunami Center reports no danger of tsunami at this time.
