Union's Shamari Brooks Named Athlete Of The Year

On Tuesday, Union’s Shamari Brooks was named News On 6 Bob Hurley Auto Family Athlete of the year.

"Just felt good, like finally, like my hard work is paying off throughout the years,” said Brooks. “But, I just want to thank my coaches and my players and my team for helping me accomplish this. Kinda shocked me when I won this one, but I mean, just God working his way."
