Police took a Tulsa man into custody after a woman said he sexually assaulted her while she was working at a Walmart store on Monday, December 19.

Officers arrested Jarrod Patrick Barnes, 36, of Tulsa at the store in the 6600 block of South Memorial.

The worker told police Barnes had been following her around the store, making lewd comments and rubbing his body up against her.

After his arrest, police said Barnes became combative in the patrol car and while he was being booked into the Tulsa County jail threatened to beat the officers "to death," claiming to be a "shot caller" for the Irish mob.

Police booked Barnes into jail on complaints including sexual battery, public intoxication, stalking, resisting arrest and threatening a violent act.

Jail records show he has a court appearance set for December 28th.
