Firefighters Rescue Dog In Suspected Muskogee Arson

The Muskogee fire marshal is investigating a suspected arson.

Witnesses said someone threw something through the front window of a house on Oxford Lane just before the home caught fire.

We spoke with a woman who said she was inside the house when it happened.

"I thought it was a Roman candle or a really cool sparkler flew through the window and went to the bedroom," she said. "I ain't the one to tattle tale, but that's some messed up stuff right there."

Four people were inside the home and jumped out the back window.

Firefighters rescued a puppy from inside and revived her with oxygen.
