They say evidence shows the 17-year-old male entered the home with a .25 caliber handgun. According to a news release, Bell was sitting next to the door and was shot.

Police said after being shot, Bell left the house, called 911 and died on the porch.

They said Johnson, also in the house, was armed with a .223 caliber AR-15 rifle and exchanged fire with the teen.

Both died at the scene.

Police continue to investigate and say “we do not have any evidence established this was drug related or a robbery, and we are not investigating any other individuals.”

Police said they do not have a motive for the shooting.
