The Sapulpa School superintendent said the district is "working tirelessly" with investigators after police arrested a second-grade teacher on drug complaints.

Police said they found dozens of syringes, some loaded with heroin, and some with meth in Megan Sloan's purse when they arrested her at Holmes Park Elementary on May 1.

The superintendent said the district takes the safety of all students very seriously, and that they're reviewing current policies and procedures.

News On 6 called the school to find out if anyone had reported any issues concerning Sloan, but we're still waiting to hear back.
