TULSA, Oklahoma -

Civil rights activist Reverend Al Sharpton will be back in Tulsa Wednesday.

There will be a prayer rally at the Jazz Hall of Fame; the goal of the visit is to make sure Tulsans are united, not divided.

This will be the reverend’s second visit to Tulsa – he first came in September for a prayer rally and march for justice in September, 11 days after Terence Crutcher was killed.

Organizers said they want to emphasize that the event is meant to bring people together, not divide them.

"There has been a lot of strife among different groups - whether it is the police thinking everyone is anti, we are not anti-police, we are for the police. But we figured it would be a good national story if Tulsa could just come together to pray," organizer Bill White said.

Dr. Tiffany Crutcher, Terence’s sister, will be there along with Etan Thomas and attorney Ben Crump.

The prayer rally starts at 6:30 p.m.
