Last night's storms blew the roof off an apartment building in Muskogee leaving dozens of people without a place to stay.
The roof blew off of a building and landed a few hundred feet away.
David Sanders lives in one of the units with his wife and 18-month-old son. He was getting ready to evacuate when the roof blew off the apartment.
Everyone made it out safely but Sanders said it was nothing like he's ever seen.
He explained what it was like when the storm came in.
"It felt like a tightly-sealed vacuum chamber and there," Sanders said. "It didn't feel like there was any oxygen in the room."
Red Cross said 30 people stayed at their shelter last night.
