Man Offering $100K Reward To Bring Oklahoma Friend Home

A man is offering up $100,000 to help bring his friend home.

In November 2015, just 11 days before her 30th birthday, Peggy McGuire disappeared and hasn’t been seen since.

McGuire’s mother, Betty Davis, said the last time she heard from her daughter she was heading to her Stidham home.

"I was calling her, I was texting her, never heard from her, and haven't seen her since," Davis said. "Very odd because she kept in touch with me pretty regular."

Since then, Davis said her life has been a living nightmare.

"It's been terrible not knowing. It's like an empty-feeling loss. No answers," she said.

Davis said she knows someone has to know what happened to her daughter, and she's hoping a cash incentive will help them open up.

She’s already put up $50,000 of her own money as a reward and was planning to put her house on the market to add $25,000 more. That's when BJ Taylor, a long-time friend of Peggy's, stepped in and said he'd added $100,000 to the pot.

"Having to keep seeing it in my Facebook feed is something that just keeps tearing at my heart, and I'm tired of seeing it. It needs to be solved," Taylor said.

Taylor said he suffered a bad stroke in 2010 and he made a deal with God that if he lived he'd do whatever God asked him to do, no questions asked.

Taylor said helping Peggy is just one of those tasks.

"I was compelled to do this, and I don't question why. I know that whatever is looking out for me up above will take care of the rest," he said.

Davis said she does not believe her daughter is still alive, but, she and her family desperately need closure.
