Ductmate Industries, an HVAC accessories manufacturing business, has purchased a 198,000-square foot manufacturing building in Wagoner. They plan to bring over 60 jobs to the town over the next five years, according to a news release.

The new manufacturing facility will be located on 40 acres of land formerly owned by Prestolite at 300 S.E. 15th Street in the Wagoner Industrial Park. Company representatives said they expect it to be up and running by the third quarter of 2017.

Ductmate, a division of DMI Companies, produces duct connectors, pipes and fittings, insulation, access doors, sealants and more. CEO Raymond Yeager said he believes the job figures are conservative and will grow as company operations expand.

Wagoner Mayor Albert Jones and the town's Economic Development Authorities are credited with helping secure the company's move. The company has locations in Pennsylvania and California and has reportedly been looking for a central location for some time.

The company also has a distribution center in Tulsa.
