Oklahoma Highway To Be Dedicated To Fallen Police Officer Justin Terney
OKLAHOMA CITY - A stretch of an Oklahoma highway will soon be named after a Tecumseh police officer killed in the line of duty. Governor Mary Fallin signed a bill that dedicates four miles of Highway 177 in Pottawatomie County in honor of Officer Justin Terney.
Terney was shot and killed during a traffic stop in March. Prosecutors have charged Byron Shepard with Terney's murder.
