Vian Woman Dies After Motorcycle Hits Deer

A Vian woman injured in a motorcycle crash on April 14, 2017, has died of her injuries, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Troopers said Barbara Brannon was westbound on Highway 64 just east of Vian when a deer ran out in front of her 2007 Kawasaki motorcycle on. Brannon hit the deer then the motorcycle went into a slide.

She was thrown from the bike and flown to the hospital with severe head injuries, the investigating trooper said.

She passed away May 12, 2017, in Tulsa. OHP just released news of her death.
