Man Charged With 2016 Tulsa Murder Arrested
TULSA, Oklahoma - Police arrested a 27-year-old Tulsa man Friday afternoon on a charge of first-degree murder.
Sgt. Dave Walker says Camaron Brown had been sought since the death of another man last year. He was arrested at a residence in west Tulsa at about 12:45 p.m.
Police say 37-year-old Leon Crockett was found shot at the Comanche Park Apartments near 36th Street North and Peoria in November. He died in December. At the time, Crockett was Tulsa's 73rd homicide of 2016.
They said Camaron Brown was believed to be the boyfriend of a woman who lived in the apartment.
Brown was booked into the Tulsa County jail Friday. Jail records show he has a court appearance set for June 2nd.
