Its going to be nice weather for this Memorial Day holiday. High of 88 with light westerly winds.
A weak boundary will be sliding south and there is a small possibility a shower or two could develop along that boundary Monday afternoon.
If that happens it would be for locations around I-44 to the north.
A lot of sunshine is on tap for today, so make sure you put on sunscreen where ever your outdoor plans take you today.
Tuesday morning some locations will have a chance for showers but that should primarily be confined to the far northern and northeastern counties.
Tuesday morning lows will be in the lower 60s. Expect a few more clouds tomorrow but we'll still have plenty of sunshine and highs will stay in the mid to upper 80s.
Another boundary will be sinking south on Wednesday but again, the rain chances will stay for the mostly northern counties, as that boundary is not expected to sink as far south.
Higher rain and storm chances will be here on Thursday through the weekend as some upper level support arrives that will help boost those chances.
With the rain and storm chances increases, our day time highs will be somewhat cooler dropping into the upper 70s and low 80s.
Heavy rain will be our primary threat on Thursday but we might have to deal with a few strong to severe storms Friday and Saturday.
