The Tulsa Regional Chamber of Commerce expects the Senior PGA and PGA championships will bring in at least $100 million into the city and provide a big boost to local businesses.

They also predict thousands of jobs will either be created or enhanced because of the championships.

Chamber President Mike Neal said the PGA's decision means, once again, Tulsa has the opportunity to showcase itself, and the state, on a national and world stage.

"We ask our citizens to already be thinking now about how we roll out the red carpet to distinguish ourselves from all these other wonderful places that they go. And know that the Tulsa hospitality, the Oklahoma hospitality, will be rolled out in an extraordinary fashion to welcome the best golfers in the world and the best golf fans in the world," Neal said.

Visit Tulsa said it's partnering will the PGA and Southern Hills to improve and repair streets and provide off-site parking for fans.
