Tulsa Man Arrested For Shooting Woman In Stomach

Police have arrested a 25-year-old Tulsa man in connection with Monday's shooting near 61st and Peoria.

He is identified as Javonta Williams.  

Police say the victim who was shot in the stomach is alive and recovering in a Tulsa hospital.

According to the Tulsa County jail, Javonta Williams was booked on complaints of possession of a firearm and assault and with a deadly weapon with a court appearance set for June 12th.
