Bus, Bookmobile Up For Auction In Tulsa This Weekend

Always wanted to own your own book mobile or city bus? Here's your chance. Those items and more will be offered at the upcoming City of Tulsa surplus property auction this weekend. 

The auction will start at 9:32 a.m. Saturday, June 10 at 108 North Trenton Avenue, a news release states. Four pianos, theater lighting and sound equipment from the Performing Arts Center and Gilcrease Museum are listed.

Those are only a few of the more than 2,500 items that will be up for bid.

View the merchandise in person from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, June 9 or by coming early on Saturday morning. The surplus property facility will open at 7:30 a.m. June 10.

See photos of the merchandise and a complete list of what's for sale on the Chupps Auction website. Items from the police property room, surplus vehicles, lawn and mowing equipment, building materials and office equipment are just some of the items you'll see.

A news release states there may be up to three auctioneers selling at the same time, so bring a partner if you plan to bid on several items. 

All sales are "as is, and no one under 16 will be admitted. Cash and credit cards are accepted. Checks must have a letter of guaranty from the bank. Payment is required in full within one hour after the auction ends.
