Tulsa Black Lives Matter and others are gathered for a free event called "Stop The Killing And Start The Healing."

This is just a day after a deadly officer involved shooting at 46th Street North and Martin Luther King Boulevard.

Saturday's event was already planned before the shooting happened.  It'll take place at 46th Street North and Hartford and runs until 5 p.m.

Tulsa Black Lives Matter and Seeking the Kingdom Ministries say on their Facebook pages, the goal is to promote unity and healing.

Friday morning, a Tulsa Police officer and two Tulsa County Sheriff's deputies shot and killed Joshua Barre while trying to pick him up for a judge-ordered mental health evaluation.

Surveillance video from inside the Super Stop convenience store at 46th Street North and MLK shows Barre walking through the front door with two knives in his hand.

Seconds later, the 29-year-old is shot.
