A 15-year-old Eufaula boy was critically injured in an ATV wreck Saturday evening, June 10, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. The medical examiner's office in Tulsa said he later died of his injuries.

His name has not been released because of his age.

Troopers said the teen was on private property jumping dirt mounds on a Kawasaki Brute Force 750 ATV when he crashed around 5:49 p.m. The property is located about a mile east of Eufaula in McIntosh County, a collision report states.

Records state the 15 year old was taken to a Tulsa hospital in critical condition with head injuries. He was not wearing a helmet, according to the investigating trooper.
