Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agents believe the death of an Adair County officer may be suspicious.

Investigators said 24-year-old Westville Police Officer Brandon Pelfrey did not arrive for his shift Tuesday.

Another officer went to Pelfrey's home and found him dead in his bedroom, investigators said.

Detectives said there are no obvious signs of trauma or foul play, but because of his age and job, they are treating it as suspicious.

The state medical examiner will determine an official cause of death.
