Police: Man Critical After Being Shot At Tulsa Park

Posted: Updated:
TULSA, Oklahoma -

Police say a man is in critical condition after he was shot at a Tulsa park Tuesday night.

Officers were called to the Pecan Creek Apartments in the 6100 block of South Yorktown at about 11 p.m. They found the victim with a gunshot wound to the chest. They say he refused to answer questions about the shooting.

The police helicopter had flown over the park and other officers had searched the area near 67th and Zunis after getting reports of shots being fired.

Police then determined the man had been shot at Graham Park, then ran to the complex where he knocked on several doors before someone called 911.

Officers don't know what led to the shooting and don't have any suspect information.
