Downtown Tulsa's CASHnip Kitty 'Stealing' Money To Help Homeless

Posted: Updated:
TULSA, Oklahoma -

A cat living in a downtown Tulsa office is collecting money for the homeless.

Sir Whines A Lot lives at the GuRuStu offices at 3rd and Hartford.

His owner said they noticed him on the floor by the door one day and figured someone had been playing with the cat by slipping money through a crack in the door.

The money kept coming, so Stuart McDaniel said, “We thought, well, if he's going to do this and people are going to play along we might as well give the money to a charity."

Since the fundraiser began, Sir Whines A Lot has become better known as CASHnip Kitty.

All the money collected by the little guy is now going to the Tulsa Day Center for the Homeless.
