Tulsa Group Meets To Discuss Possible 28th Amendment
TULSA, Oklahoma - There's a new group forming in Tulsa to try to add an amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
American Promise held a meeting at TU today.
They are advocating for a 28th amendment to give people more rights than corporations.
They say money plays too big of a role in politics.
Azor Cole, the Citizen Empowerment Coordinator, said we have “a society which increasingly has its elected officials listen to the people who are bankrolling their campaigns and not their constituents."
The group says 19 states are on board with their new amendment.
