Police say a five-year-old boy, who is autistic, is back home after he was found wandering alone in west Tulsa early Tuesday.
Officers say a woman called them saying she'd found the boy walking down a neighborhood street. Police started driving him around to see if the boy could recognize his home.
It turns out the child's grandmother, who lives in Owasso, saw a 6 In The Morning live report and called his parents and police.
Officers were able to get the child back home safely and say he escaped through an unlocked door while the parents were asleep.
Police say the child was not hurt.
