A Green Country animal shelter is so overcrowded, it's going to have to start euthanizing dogs next week.
The Sapulpa Animal Shelter said it's taken in almost 30 dogs and 30 cats since the first of the month.
Animal control officers said they keep the animals as long as they can, but they aren't equipped to hold on to them for long.
"A shelter is not a long-term care facility. These animals need to find forever homes or they need to find a rescue," said Christa Kaler, Sapulpa Animal Control officer.
