KIEFER, Oklahoma - At Friday's game between Kiefer and Summit Christian, the Trojans paid special honor to our nation.

One of the parents bought 41 American flags for the team to carry as they ran onto the field.

"It's just a small token of appreciation to honor all the men and women that have served in any branch — future, past and present," said Josh Calvert, Kiefer Head Football Coach.

Fort Gibson also did this last week.

Kiefer plans to do it at each home game for the rest of the season.
