Posted: Updated:
TULSA, Oklahoma -

Police are trying to find a man who they say attacked a homeless man with a rock at a downtown Tulsa park Monday evening.

Just after 9:35 p.m.. officers were called to Centennial Park in the 1000 block of East 6th Street.

They arrived to find an intoxicated victim bleeding from a head wound.

Police say the victim told them he had been attacked with a rock.  EMSA took him to a Tulsa hospital for treatment of what police said was a non-life threatening wound.

A search of the park and the area around the park for the suspect was unsuccessful.
