A vacant home is a total loss after a fire late Monday in northeast Oklahoma City. 

The fire happened shortly before 11:55 p.m. in the 2300 block of Hardin Drive. 

Fire crews said flames were shooting out from the roof when they arrived on the scene. 

The home was valued at $98,000 and neighbors said homeless people lived inside the home.

No one was inside the home.
