Local Agencies Offering Bowl Game Travel Packages

Travel Agencies and Ticket Brokers Monday were scrambling to take care of rabid Sooner fans planning to head to Los Angeles for the Rose Bowl New Years Day. 

OU plays Georgia, with the winner advancing to the National Championship Game January 8th in Atlanta. 

“We’ve probably had a thousand inquiries on tickets or packages in the past 24-hours,” said Tickets Unlimited Special Event Coordinator Scooter Proctor. 

Bentley Hedges Travel CEO Angela Hedges says they’re already booking trips for the National Championship Game. “Might as well,” she said. “And especially with the way the games are, I think there’s a very good chance OU will go and have an excellent chance, they’re going to win,” she said. 

Sooner Legends Inn and Suites Owner Doug Kennon is also offering two-day New Years Eve—Sooner Rose Bowl Watch Party packages.
