OKLAHOMA CITY - OKC Fire responded to a house fire in northwest Oklahoma City, Saturday. 

Crews arrived at the scene near NW 113th and James L Dennis Dr. around 1:00 p.m. Officials reported smoke showing from the second story and fire from the rear of the home upon arrival. Fire officials believe the fire started on the back patio and spread to the attic of the second story. 

Fire officials told News 9 two dogs and one hedgehog died in the fire. No other occupants were at home at the time of the fire. 

Total damages are estimated at $418,000.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
